3. Appointments and Cancellations

- Appointments can be made by phone, in person, or through our online booking request form.
- Online booking requests are not confirmed until you receive confirmation from our reception team.
- We ask that you provide at least 2 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- Repeated failure to attend booked appointments ("no-shows") may result in a cancellation fee or restriction on future bookings.
- We endeavour to see patients at their scheduled time; however, emergency cases and clinical complexity may occasionally cause delays.
- Same-day appointments are available subject to availability.
4. Fees and Payment
Our fee and payment policies are as follows:
- We offer bulk billing for eligible patients, including children under 16, pensioners, and Health Care Card holders. Please enquire at reception about your eligibility.
- For privately billed consultations, payment is due at the time of service.
- We accept cash, EFTPOS, credit cards, and Medicare Easy Claim.
- A schedule of current fees is available at reception and upon request.
- Additional fees may apply for procedures, extended consultations, reports, and other services not covered by Medicare.
- If you are experiencing financial hardship, please speak with our practice manager confidentially.
5. Patient Responsibilities
As a patient, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information about your medical history, current symptoms, medications, and allergies.
- Informing us of any changes to your personal details (address, phone, Medicare, etc.).
- Following agreed treatment plans and taking prescribed medications as directed.
- Attending scheduled appointments or providing timely notice of cancellation.
- Treating all staff and other patients with respect and courtesy.
- Settling any outstanding fees in a timely manner.
